The Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure

The Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure govern procedure and practice in all Oregon circuit courts (except for the small claims department).

ORCP - Effective January 1, 2018

Amendments to the ORCP Promulgated by the Council on Court Procedures on December 8, 2018 - will become effective on January 1, 2020.

Includes amendments to Rules 7, 15, 16, 22, 38, 43, 44, 55, and 65. These promulgated amendments were sent to the Legislature at the beginning of the legislative session in February of 2019 and will become effective as law on January 1, 2020.

Amendments Made by Oregon Legislature

This information will be provided as soon as the Governor signs the laws passed by the Legislature.
