Our Commitment

The Council on Court Procedures is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities, including visitors using assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnification. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of this website and to meet or exceed applicable accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard.

As a public body of the State of Oregon, we recognize our content is expected to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. We are working toward full conformance on an ongoing basis.

Known Limitations

We strive to make this entire site accessible. However, we are aware of the following limitations, and are working to address them:

• PDF documents. Meeting agendas, minutes, appendices, and rule drafts are posted as PDFs, including materials produced from scanned or third-party source documents. Some of these files may not be fully tagged for screen reader use or may not meet full color-contrast or reading-order requirements. If you need a specific document in an alternative accessible format, please contact us using the information below and we will provide one.
• Embedded third-party content. The meeting calendar embedded from data.oregon.gov is hosted and maintained by a separate state system; its accessibility is outside our direct control, though we link to it because it is the authoritative public calendar.
• Legacy pages and older documents. Some older content published before this statement was adopted may not yet have been reviewed for accessibility.

Accessibility Features on This Site

This site includes a built-in accessibility toolbar (visible in the site footer) that lets visitors adjust contrast, text size, font readability, keyboard navigation cues, and link/button highlighting. This tool is provided as a convenience and does not replace our underlying commitment to building accessible pages and documents — we do not rely on it alone to meet conformance.
